Every date below was checked against the event's own organiser, the host municipality or a national tourism body. Where no 2026 date has been safely published, we say so rather than guess. Always confirm with the organiser before you travel.

How to use this calendar

No single registry can honestly claim to list every Pride in Europe. The European Pride Organisers Association (EPOA) estimates the movement had grown to nearly 1,000 events across 48 countries before the pandemic, and its public calendar is still being rebuilt. Dates also move late in the year because of permits, funding, weather and security decisions.

So rather than pad this page out with unverified entries, we label exactly what we know:

Confirmed — an organiser, municipality or official tourism body has published a 2026 date, and we link to that source.
No confirmed date — nothing verifiable had been published at our last check. In some countries that reflects genuine risk to organisers, not an oversight on our part.
Festival range vs. parade day — many Prides run for a week or more. Where the march itself has its own date, we give both.
This is a guide to the major capital-city and flagship events, not an exhaustive list of every local celebration. Check the organiser's own page before booking travel.

What changed in 2026

Several widely-shared 2026 listings are now out of date. If you have seen any of the following repeated elsewhere, here is the verified position.

Event	What actually happened
Paris — Marche des Fiertés	The march scheduled for 27 June was cancelled because of the heatwave. Other Paris programming went ahead around late June, but there was no 2026 parade.
Lisbon — Arraial Lisboa Pride	The Lisbon Pride March took place on 6 June, but Arraial Lisboa Pride did not go ahead in June as originally listed.
Amsterdam — WorldPride	The Canal Parade was on 1 August, but WorldPride continues through 8 August with the WorldPride March and closing concert. It is not over.
Belgrade Pride	Pride Week runs 31 August to 6 September — not daily through 6 September, as some listings suggest. The march programme is confirmed by the organiser.
Purmerend Pride	Not a month-long October event. The municipality places it in the second week of October, around Coming Out Day, with the 2026 opening listed for 11 October.

In several of these countries the absence of a published date reflects legal restriction or genuine risk to organisers — not a gap in our research. Where events do happen, they may be announced only at short notice, or held privately.

How we verify these dates

Pride calendars circulate widely and get copied without checking. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, and the same ones we would suggest to anyone republishing this information.

We record the festival start, the festival end and the parade date as three separate facts. A single date in someone else's listing usually refers only to the march — or only to the opening.
Every future event carries a visible last-checked date. We re-verify weekly, and daily in the final week before an event.
We treat the organiser, the city authority or the official tourism board as the authority. Travel blogs and aggregators are useful for finding events, never for confirming them.
Where a march is restricted or carries real risk, we do not publish an inferred route, time or assembly point. We link to the organiser and let them control that information.
We avoid attendance superlatives — "largest", "iconic", "massive" — unless there is a dated, attributable source behind the claim.

Sources

Primary sources: official event organisers, municipal pages, national tourism bodies and named organiser press releases. Every confirmed date on this page links back to one of these.
Used for coverage checks: the LGBT-Prides Europe capital calendar helped us confirm we had not missed a country and pointed to official links. Useful for breadth — but no substitute for the organiser's current page.
Deliberately excluded: one widely-cited directory returned significant URL-to-event mismatches during spot checks (a Brighton entry resolving to an Amsterdam page, for example). We did not use it to assert any date here.

That last point matters more than it might seem. A calendar that looks complete is not the same thing as a calendar that has been checked — and for events in countries where organising carries risk, the difference can be serious.
