Forum Privacy Notice
How the GayJustice forum collects, uses, stores and discloses personal data.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect your username, email address, password hash and IP address. Posts and replies you submit are stored and displayed according to our moderation rules.
How we use it
We use your data to run the forum, send required transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, moderation notices), enforce the house rules and improve the service.
Who can see it
Your username, public profile fields and approved posts are visible to visitors. Email addresses are not published. Moderators may see IP addresses and moderation flags.
Hosting and storage
The forum is hosted by Google Cloud (Cloud Run + Cloud SQL). Data is stored in the Netherlands region unless technical support requires temporary access elsewhere.
Google OAuth
If you sign in with Google we receive your Google account's email address and profile information. We do not receive your Google password.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account and posts by emailing info@gayjustice.org. We may keep anonymised or legally required records.
Cookies
The forum uses essential session cookies. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Changes and contact
